In order to promote provincial safe transfusion practice in BC, the BC Provincial Blood Coordinating Office (PBCO) and its transfusion medicine partners develop provincially standardized, optimal practice guidelines and training/ assessment tools for BC Transfusion Medicine clinical and laboratory services.
