By using the Transparent Blood Inventory (TBI) and the Inventory Utilization dashboards (herein "TBI dashboards"), you agree to the terms and conditions that govern the use of the TBI dashboards. If at any time, the outlined terms and conditions of use are no longer acceptable to you, you must immediately cease all use of the TBI dashboards. By using the TBI dashboards, you also agree to the PHSA Data Access and Term of Use.

The information presented in the TBI dashboards is provided by Canadian Blood Services and BC and Yukon Health Authorities and therefore, the BC Provincial Blood Coordinating Office (PBCO) makes no representation as to the correctness, quality, or reliability of the information. PBCO disclaims representations, warranties, or conditions regarding accuracy, timeliness, sequence, completeness, non-infringement, quality, and fitness of any kind.

PBCO is not responsible in any manner for direct, indirect, special or consequential damages caused, arising out of your use of the dashboards. Any reliance you may place on the information is at your sole risk.

PBCO reserves the right to delete, modify, or supplement the information and other content of the TBI dashboards at any time for any reason.

PBCO does not warrant that the TBI dashboards or the information contained herein will be uninterrupted or free from defects or errors, nor that the TBI dashboards and its associated servers are free from computer viruses or other harmful content. No endorsement of any third party products, services or information is expressed or implied by any information, material or content referred to or included on, or linked from or to the TBI dashboards. Nothing contained in the information should in any way be construed as being either official or unofficial policy of the PBCO.

The TBI dashboards have been specifically developed for use by the BC/Yukon transfusion medicine community as well as the BC Ministry of Health.

Conditions and Purpose of Use

In consideration of being granted personalized access to the TBI dashboards, you agree to the following:

1. You will access the TBI dashboards, use and disclose the clinical information where it is solely for the purpose of performing the duties of your position and for operational reporting.

2. You have completed the Privacy and Security e-Learning Training on the PHSA Learning Hub (or equivalent at your organization) and have signed the Confidentiality Acknowledgement.

3. You will not share this data outside BC/Yukon Health Authorities or use it for research purposes and/or publications unless you have the written approval from the PLMS data steward.

4. You will take reasonable care to protect the security of the information and will immediately notify TBI support (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if any potential or actual unauthorized disclosure of information occurs.

5. You acknowledge that the usage of the TBI dashboards may be monitored and recorded for quality assurance purposes.

6. You acknowledge that support of this applicatiossssssn is only available during regular workday hours.

7. You acknowledge that the sharing of potentially sensitive information across Health Authorities is intended for mutual benefit in inventory management and to support emergency blood management.

PBCO may suspend or terminate user access immediately without notice if it is determined that you have undertaken activities deemed to be inappropriate.
