The BC Provincial Blood Coordinating Office (PBCO) in collaboration with the BC Transfusion Medicine Advisory Group (TMAG), developed and hosted a six module webinar education series in 2011/2012 that was entitled Transfusion Reaction Education for BC Pathologists. The series was developed to promote understanding of the elements of the provincial minimum standards of practice, to review the principles and practice for investigating and reporting transfusion reactions and to apply this knowledge using case studies.
